Maths Reflection Week 2

Learning Intention-I learnt what a fraction is.


A fraction is bit of  maths, like (1/4).  I have to match the picture to the fraction  example one halves (1/2), and one thirds (1/3),which number has one thirds, that's when then I pick (1/3) that what fraction is.


I am still unsure about the bigger fraction like (2/8) but I still know the (1/2)  up to the (1/10) is. 

Taekwondo

1) Taekwondo is a martial arts sport that does kicking and pushing.

2) If you play Taekwondo you have to wear a white baggy top and baggy pants for the uniform and different colored belts. The belts represent what level you’re on.

3) If you do Taekwondo you have to have a Referee.

4) Taekwondo was found on the 22d of March of 1966.

The Olympic are starting this weekend ans so I have done a little research and here is what I found out.

Learning Intention:
Understanding the place value of numbers.




My  Maths group is understanding where does the place value goes and the numbers.


The big blocks are for thousands.  The blocks that are next to the thousands they  are for Hundreds. The blocks next to that is the tens and the little one is for the ones.


Place value is known the higher number, like hundreds, and thunders and million. 

Describing writing week 1

 In writing we are learning about descriptive writing. I practised thinking up descriptive words of different things.
