WALA FOR LIFE :)

Here is a group that was performing to us at glen inns school their group is called " WALA FOR LIFE". Their are students from St Pius x that were volunteered to play the instrument.We got to know all of their names and it was cool to see them play and perform for us.

Milk Experience

CHILLY MILK EXPERIMENT:

PURPOSE:   TO OBSERVE AND RECORD THE CHANGES WHEN DIFFERENT MILK IS PUT IN THE FREEZER.

WHAT YOU NEED: a selection of 3 different type of milk

clear container

WHAT TO DO: Put  an equal volume of each type of milk in a clear container

Place each container in the freezer

Record what happens to each type of milk as it freezes.  Note its colour, texture and shape.

Record the time it takes to each variety to freeze.

These are our suggestion for how many minutes these types of milk

will take if it was in the freezer. 

Type of milk	what it looked like once it had frozen	Time taken to freeze
Up & go (chocolate milk)	Icy, cold, will not be runny.	30 minutes
Condensed milk	Light colour, Little bit sticky, Little bit gooey	An hour
Blue top	Icy, Cold,still runny	25 Minutes

Conclusion:While the Up & Go and Blue top did freeze, but the Condensed milk didn't freeze and it was still running but slow. Also it was cold,but the  condensed milk didn't freeze because the water had already remove.

Auckland City mission helps the hungry and poor people who have no food to eat.✔

3) Where are they based?
Hobson St and Otahuhu offices.✔

4) How do they help?
In every Christmas the Auckland city mission give dresses to other people who has no clothes.✔

5) How do they raise their money?
  Auckland city raises money by Fundraising and donations.✔
                                                                   
6) Why do you think they help the hungry?Auckland City helped the hungry because they had no food to eat. ✔

6) Why do you think they help the hungry? The Auckland city helps the poor people because they are poor and they are like us if they don’t get food to eat they will die.✔

7) Explain how you could help the hungry? You could save up some money or you can do a fundraiser too.✔

Olympics torch

I saw the flame on the stadium and it was colourful.

The flame was made of metal copper and the flame will be blown out when the olympics games will be off.

Each of the countries had a flower petal from the torch at the end of the game.

The olympics was came and made from greece and the olympics name was changed it was changed to olympic and when the countries had some supe super winners they came and join the olympic from greece and the olympic name was changed into olympics.

If the flame is blown off then that means the olympic is finished, and all the people who came from different country are already gone back to their own place with a gold or a sliver or a bronze.

If you go near the olympics torch you will be hot and the olympics torch fire was by the matches.

It hot when you get near it beside you will get really hot by that time the torch is colourful and it very nice when it is in the stadium.

Taekwondo

1) Taekwondo is a martial arts sport that does kicking and pushing.

2) If you play Taekwondo you have to wear a white baggy top and baggy pants for the uniform and different colored belts. The belts represent what level you’re on.

3) If you do Taekwondo you have to have a Referee.

4) Taekwondo was found on the 22d of March of 1966.
